History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Helja liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He tends to his Banker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wishes to resurrect an old love
