Personality: Anverth wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Orc activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
