History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Blacksmith.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Gnarsh reached his early adolescence his Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
