History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Alain liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Oskar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Oskar began to lead the lost caravan. He tends to his Shoemaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She became a Dyer soon after.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Lezre has worked very hard to control her curse. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end her boredom
