Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears his auburn hair down. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Baern embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Baern grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. After a long history of fighting, Baern and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Junk Dealer. She tends to her Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Sumnes was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
