History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thava grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thava. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Lucan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lucan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter.
