Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the north. Thamuz was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Tailor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tailor for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Carter again.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with dancing. She constantly tries to fill her life with dancing. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. When Silaqui reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a nunchaku, but if one is not available he will default to his shortspear. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Eberk was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Revenge; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people
