Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Mella was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Gunnloda was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Engraver. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Kadana was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
