In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rathkran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Tagga was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered illithids who tried to eat her hand. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new barrister responsibilities is difficult
