History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Courier for the past few years.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She worked as a nervous Assassin and found it very stressful. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
