Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born in the west to a Miller, William learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miller. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Birel is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Birel hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
