Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sarai embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was born in the west. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Alice was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
