History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arannis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A freak accident while working with her Healer mother left her crippled. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Seere never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and money/treasure

Personality: She is a Courier first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
