Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He takes great joy in being the best Shoemaker in town.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Kaladan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Spice Merchant, but he got bored and became a Soapmaker. He struck the Soapmaker job and began his own company from there.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with her Seamstress mother left her crippled. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
