History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his youth he was a Performer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country.
