History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Kali was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Kali's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Aerdeth was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Aerdeth's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable
