History: She was born in the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the south were limited. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Andraste embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite.
