History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nissa. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Seere was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Layabout. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Banker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Arnold wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
