When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
