History: Kody hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Margery was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Margery abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He worked as a nervous Detective and found it very stressful. He became a Detective soon after.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is unsatisfied with his job
