Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Valida lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. She became a Roofer soon after.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sword, but if one is not available he will default to his morningstar. His hair is red and curly. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Ortegar was born the youngest of three triplets. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This slender woman stands about 4'9". She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her golden hair is lengthy. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. In her youth she was a Shepherd, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
