History: Korfel lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Elizabeth never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
