Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
