History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Helja was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Helja fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dragonborn activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
