History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she feels threatened by others

History: Dain was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Quarethon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the north to a Mercenary, Quarethon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mercenary.
