Personality: Valanthe is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She got into the Cook business at a young age. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cook. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and balancing her hectic life and new cook responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. A true patriot, Aldous would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He found a children's book about a Human Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and further expansion of business

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
