History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Patrick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Patrick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Odorr was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Findex was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
