Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Trey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
