History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He struck the Cartwright job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nala was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and many giants want him driven away
