History: Emeny lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Qualen grew up listening to his father's many stories. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
