History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A freak accident while working with his Mercenary father left him crippled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Valanthe is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Sage business.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he tends to wear a large green jacket. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. He has gleaming, smiling gold eyes.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a flail, but if one is not available he will default to his scythe. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Crown-heir. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Crown-heir for hire.
