History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Qualen reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. History: Herleva lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Armorer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
