History: Nija hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Nija was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
