History: Flask lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She became a Sailor soon after.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thiala alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
