Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She keeps her long red fur kept up in a rat tail. She has a dull look in her yellow eyes.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kite fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Helja's homeland. Helja decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Description: This tall, slender woman wears dull yellow sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed scythe, just in case. She has shaved her head bald. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Irann lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Howard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a Sculptor, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has worked as a Weaver like his father before him.
