History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She found a children's book about a Gnome Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
