History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears baggy yellow pantaloons and a grey scarf. He has red hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dean grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dean. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Dean never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Verin hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cressel grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
