History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She married young, but lost her spouse to goblins. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
