She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. A true patriot, Giselle would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Giselle hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When Giselle reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Giselle was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.
