History: He was born in the south. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
