History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Kerkad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A gifted student he started as a Spice Merchant, but he got bored and became a Apothecary. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.
