History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in kukri use. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: Makaria speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born in a small island village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Makaria took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor she uses now. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
