History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Cimer and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: Born in the west to a Shipwright, Arannis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
