History: Xappan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child.
