Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, River learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She struck the Engraver job and began her own company from there.
