History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Cressel hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Bricklayer. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
