History: Makaria hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
