History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Nimble is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Nimble and her spouse have recently divorced.
