History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bharash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Nora lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
