History: Marbas was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He bought a scimitar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
